Dovid Oved Retreat Center assumes no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property. Do not bring unnecessary items, illegal substances, fireworks, pets, or weapons (of any kind). None are allowed on the premises.
We may be sharing the campground with other parties that weekend. This means it is important we respect the curfew for noise.
The temperature in March at Running Springs can be between 30° to 50° F with possible rain/ snow and high winds. Dressing in layers is the easiest way to respond to the changeable weather.
What is Provided
We have a mix of dorms and family rooms. Each dorm has bunk beds, mattresses, heating, electrical outlets, a common bathroom, and hot showers.
Option of
Dorm Style - bunk beds with no linens, pillows, or towels
Hotel Family Style - private room, two queen beds, with linens, pillows, and towels
What is NOT Available or Allowed
Drinking water is readily available but cups for water or other drinks may not be available. Please bring reusable water bottles.
Medical services, supplies, and first-aid kits are not available.
Pets are not allowed.
What To Bring
The retreat center does not provide any of the following. You must bring it yourself:
Sleeping
Sleeping bag, blankets, and pillow (for dorm-style rooms)
Extra sleeping bags, bedsheets, blankets, and pillows too for out-of-state yogis.
Sahaj Seminar Things
Puja clothes (sarees for ladies, kurtas for men)
Mantra and Bhajan books
Prasad (home-made)
